What type of classes do you offer?
We offer Twinkling Twos, tumbling, ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, dancercise, glee kids, musical theatre, drama and more.

What is the age range to participate at BBDC?
We offer classes for students ranging in age range from 2 years to Adult.

My child is 12 years old and never danced before, can he/she still take classes?
Yes, we offer classes for children and teens of all levels (beginner thorugh pre-professional). We offer many beginner classes for pre-teens and teenagers accommodating all levels.

Does my child need to audition to take classes?
No, your child does not need to audition to take classes. However, the director meets with all new students to design a program specifically for your child based on the best student/teacher match.

Can I try a class before registering?
Sure. Give the office a call at 201-385-4114 and we can set up a trial class for you.

Do you have an end of year concert?
Yes we hold our end of the year concert at the state-of-the-art facility, Bergen Academies. This performance enables each student to put his/her skills to use and promotes individual confidence and self-esteem.

Am I allowed to watch my child in class?
Yes. Parents are allowed to view their child’s class through our large one-way observation window. This allows parents to observe the student’s progress throughout the year.

How do I register my child for the 2011-12 Dance Year?
You can register through the website, print out a registration form, fill it out and give us a call. We’ll guide you through the class schedules and design a program for you. You can also call the office anytime to set up an appointment to meet with the director and register for class.

When do I need to register by for the coming season?
You can register at any time, however, the sooner the better as many of our classes fill very quickly.
